  • What are the criteria for the "Featured Producers"?

Featured producers are chosen by the following criteria: a) presentation b) quality of music c) verifiable track record d) # of subscribers.

  • Will the PMP receive a percentage of any music I sell?

No, the PMP does not get involved in user/buyer transactions

  • Are there any size limits to the music uploaded into the PMP system?

Yes, the maximum file size accepted is 10mb (mp3 format)

  • How does the PMP protect against plagiarism?

It is a commonly known fact that the best protection against plagiarism is to register a copyright for your materials before you present them to anyone. The PMP cannot guarantee that your music will be protected 100% against copying but we have taken the following steps to ensure that the integrity of the PMP is maintained:

    • All of your uploaded song files are date/time stamped and issued an index number.
    • The PMP issues username/passwords to anyone accessing music on your production page and a log file is kept for all user activity
    • The PMP system is designed as a streaming system rather than a download system. Users must stream music from their IP address in order to hear the track. (tracks submitted to the Track Dump will be downloadable)
    • The whole world is watching...if you think you can operate in total anonymity on the PMP think again. The heavy recording industry presence on the PMP is by design not by accident. So before you cheat you had better think about your career in
      the music industry!
